The 2026 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf offers the familiar maple leaf design in one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, it carries a C$5 face value. Offered in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, this dated coin suits collectors building a yearly set and buyers seeking a recognized silver bullion series.
The obverse features King Charles III, portrayed by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. The reverse displays Canada's maple leaf alongside the coin's weight and purity. Its 38 mm diameter gives the design a clear presentation within the established Silver Maple Leaf format, a series first issued in 1988.
Security features include precisely cut radial lines and a micro-engraved maple leaf with the year identifier visible under magnification. The coin also uses the Mint's Bullion DNA authentication technology and MINTSHIELD surface protection, designed to reduce the occurrence of white spots without changing its silver composition.
BU does not mean a certified numerical grade. Minor contact marks may occur during handling and storage. The C$5 denomination is its legal face value; the selling price reflects silver content and the coin's premium. Handle it by the edges and keep it in a suitable protective holder.
